Privacy at Laso Finance
This page explains what Laso Finance LLC collects when you use laso.finance, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. The complete legal privacy policy is published at app.getterms.io/view/DI946/privacy/en-us and governs in the event of any conflict with the summary below.
What we collect
- Account data — the wallet address you sign in with, or the account identifier created for you if you sign in without connecting a wallet, plus any email address or notification preferences you give us.
- Transaction data — deposits received at our addresses, orders you place, the cards and gift cards issued to you, payouts you send, refunds, and the balances that result.
- Identity data, where a product requires it. That check is performed by a regulated verification provider through a hosted form; we receive the outcome and the limited identifying details needed to keep the record, not your raw document images.
- Device and usage data — IP address, device and browser characteristics, a device fingerprint used for fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics.
- Support correspondence — messages you send us, and our replies.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run the products you ask for and to meet obligations we cannot opt out of. As a money services business registered with FinCEN, Laso Finance is subject to the Bank Secrecy Act and its implementing regulations, which require us to screen for sanctions exposure and illicit funds, apply prepaid access limits, monitor for suspicious activity, and retain records of the transactions we process. See our compliance page. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share only what a given partner needs to perform its role: card issuers, gift card suppliers, and payout providers to fulfill an order; identity verification, blockchain analytics, and device intelligence providers to run compliance and fraud checks; infrastructure, analytics, and support vendors that host our systems; and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it. Activity on a public blockchain is inherently public — deposits to and withdrawals from our addresses are visible to anyone.
Retention, security, and your choices
Records tied to money transmission are retained for at least five years after the relevant activity, as required of a money services business. Access to production data is restricted, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted: email support@laso.finance with "privacy request" in the subject line. Where a record is one we are legally required to retain, we will keep it for the required period and tell you which parts that applies to. Contact details are on the contact page.
