If the recipient already exists without an address, pass `recipientAddress` to `addBankingDestination` and it sets the address before attaching the account, so no second recipient is needed. Use only the address and bank details the account owner actually provided. `addBankingDestination` also accepts an optional `nickname` (a user-facing label like "Rent account", 40 characters max), which `listBankingRecipients` and `GET /bank-recipients` return on the destination. - `updateBankingDestination`, `deleteBankingRecipient`: Manage registered recipients. Call a paywalled endpoint without payment → receive `402 Payment Required` with payment details 2. Construct an x402 payment header using the 402 response details 3. Replay the request with the payment header → server processes the request **Fees are added ON TOP of `amount`.** On every route priced as "amount + fee", the wallet is debited `amount + fee` while the recipient receives the full `amount`. A wallet holding exactly \$2,000 therefore cannot send a \$2,000 bank payment: that request costs \$2,005.00 and fails to settle. To spend a balance B, request `B / (1 + rate)` — or `B - minimum_fee` where the minimum binds — rounded down to the cent. The 402 challenge's own `amount` field is the authoritative total in atomic units, already fee-inclusive, so prefer comparing that to your balance over recomputing the fee. **When a payment fails to settle** (step 3 failing after the header verifies, most often an underfunded wallet), the response is a second 402 carrying the standard x402 settlement-failure body — `{ "success": false, "errorReason": "...", "errorMessage": "...", "payer": "...", "network": "..." }` — plus a Laso-specific `x_laso_guidance` string when a concrete next step exists. Distinguish the two 402s by body: the first carries `accepts` (pay this), the second carries `success: false` (payment failed). Branch on `errorReason`. Nothing is charged for a failed settlement, so retrying with a smaller amount is safe. **Purchase workflow:** When making an online purchase, navigate to the merchant's checkout page and determine the exact total (including tax and shipping) before ordering a card. The $5-$9,000 limits apply to the converted USD value, not the raw amount. Check the product's `currency` in `/search-gift-cards` and read the actual price from the 402 response. Returns redemption details (URL, code, and/or PIN). Also returns auth credentials. - `GET /get-push-to-card?amount=X¤cy=USD|EUR|GBP` (face value 10–9,541.98, dynamic USDC price): Send money to a debit card. `amount` is the face value in the chosen currency; the x402 USDC price is that value converted to USD plus a 4.8% fee (minimum fee of 1.50 in the chosen currency). Supports `USD` (U.S. bank accounts), `EUR` (Eurozone), and `GBP` (U.K.). Returns a `redemption_url` that must be opened to enter debit card details (sender name, card number, cardholder name).
